RETURNS


We hope that you will always be happy with your purchase but if on the rare occasion you need to return an item, please read and follow our return policy. 

Stunted Giraffe Co offers store credit only for returned items. We do not offer refunds.

 

Please note we do not offer returns for Sale items or purchases using a discount code / voucher/ credit note, so please choose carefully. Also we do not offer exchanges on accessories, jewellery or intimates (includes barrettes, bodysuits ,haircare, accessories & Bathers ) for hygienic reasons.

So you need to return an item! 


Please note that at Stunted Giraffe Co we check all items to ensure they are in perfect condition and packaged carefully before sending any item out to you. If however you are unhappy with your purchase you may return the item for  store credit within 14 days of being received by customer ( please note we have tracking with every order so we have a copy of the date your parcel was received). You will receive a store credit/gift voucher only for the items you wish to exchange.

Be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, unworn and unwashed and all tags still attached.
Be received within 14 days ( as above). Please include your invoice slip with the return.
If items have any stains, fake tan, makeup marks, have any fragrance or any kind of sent on them, the return will be rejected and the customer will be charged a re-shipping fee to have the product returned.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned for hygienic reasons all Jewellery, all intimate wear, all bodysuits, all barrettes, all hair care and all accessories and all Sale or Clearance or Final sale items. So please choose carefully.

Refunds are for manufacturing faults only.

Our policy lasts 14 days. 
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing or unsuitability.
To be eligible for a store credit or exchange, your item must: NOTIFY US FIRST by email at info@stuntedgiraffeco.com

Once your item has been received  we will check it over and ensure that it meets all the return conditions. Once it has been approved , we will notify you.

Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer item is must be returned via express post (trackable) or another trackable methodif you wish to return an item for exchange or credit note.

Please note that if you want to exchange your item we can not guarantee that the particular stock or size you require will be available, when the unwanted item is returned. If this is the case you will be issued with a store credit/gift voucher in lieu of an exchange. Please note when a credit/voucher is issued its for the amount paid for the item (this does not include postage)

In line with with Australian Consumer law and many other Australian on-line retailers, sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.

FAULTY ITEAMS
We always check all items before they are sent but if you receive item that is damaged or faulty please contact us via email at info@stuntedgiraffeco.com immediately within 5 days of receiving. Merchandise that has been washed cannot be accepted for store credit. When an item is faulty we will endeavour to  replace the item when we can, but we can not guarantee that the particular stock or size you require will be available. If this is the case we will refund you the cost of the item.

Faults include but are not limited to:

Holes in fabric, Uneven hemline, Broken or faulty zip,Broken or missing stitching.

Garment  measurement dimensions out of tolerance, Puckering ( this is an irregular seam surface).

Please note: Untrimmed threads are not a fault, these can be easy trimmed with scissors.

DAMAGED PARCELS
If your items have arrived damaged, we are very sorry we do our best to pack them safely, but sometimes this may happen and we have no control over shipping on en-route to your premises. Please contact us immediately at info@stuntedgiraffeco.com within 5 days of receiving your items. We will offer you an exchange where possible, or if thats not possible a  full refund after we have received the return item. In this case we will pay for the postage of sending these items back to us.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on intimate items, earrings or hair care unless noticeably damaged upon receiving them.

To complete your return, we require original receipt or proof of purchase.
We do not offer exchanges on SALE items or purchases made using a discount code/voucher/ gift card or Final sale items.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

For return items after the 14 day period (30 days international orders) a 25% restocking fee will be subtracted from the credit given. The 14 day starts from the day the order was received by the customer. 
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery will be rejected, (45 days international orders), and you will be contacted to have them shipped back to you at your expense.

Refunds  (if applicable) Faulty or Damaged goods only
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, we will notify you and refund you the cost of the item and return postage costs in full.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@stuntedgiraffeco.com and we will get back to you ASAP

Sale items or Clearance items or Final Sale (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.Under Australian Customer Law we are not required to provide a refund or replacement on Final sale items if you change your mind wrong colour, size or fit. Please note this does not include damaged or faulty items. We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if the item does not comply with our returns policy. Items that do not comply will be shipped back to the customer.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@stuntedgiraffeco.com and we will notify you regarding this matter. If applicable to you we will let you know you can send your item to: Stunted Giraffe Co, PO Box 1635 Mandurah 6210, Mandurah WA 6210, Australia.Please include original invoice.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be e-mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Please send back via express  Australia post (trackable) or another trackable method. Please don't forget to include invoice with item.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of  shipping will be deducted from your refund if applicable.For example if you purchased something that was over $100 and had the free shipping the store credit will be issued minus the cost of the shipping, stunted giraffe co is not responsible or liable for shipping costs due to incorrect sizing, change of mind colour choice etc and therefore the shipping and handling cost will be deducted from your store credit. those who were not eligible for the free shipping ie below $100 will be issued with a store credit for the price of the item that they purchased, we do not refund the shipping cost.

For all international returns, you will be given a store credit minus the shipping fee. It is the responsibility of the customer to cover all cost of returning the item.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using an Express trackable shipping service with sign on delivery or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
